Overview
CITRINI is a Solana token launched on Pump.fun on 25 August 2026 by Martin Shkreli, live on X in front of an audience of more than 30,000 viewers. The launch is documented primarily for what happened in its first transaction: a single sniper wallet acquired roughly 35 per cent of the supply and later realised more than $250,000.

Origin
Shkreli opened a Pump.fun account, began streaming on X, and endorsed several existing tokens before deciding to deploy one himself. He prepared the launch on stream, announcing his intentions in advance, and then deployed CITRINI while the broadcast was running.
The sniper
The wallet Cg3GP8ZGDCqydaKxKVMYnBVfaHWXNKgvZAUyNiXEFCqc had a sniper configured against Shkreli's deployer wallet. When the deployment transaction appeared, the wallet paid a priority tip of 67 SOL, approximately $6,500, to guarantee that its buy was the first transaction included after the launch.
The sniper acquired approximately 35 per cent of the total supply for roughly $3,000. It subsequently distributed that position into the buy pressure created by other snipers and by viewers of the livestream, realising more than $250,000 on an investment of around $9,400 in total cost including the tip.

Market activity
CITRINI traded to a market capitalisation of approximately $1.12 million within minutes of deployment, with around 2,500 holders. Holder data during the stream showed the Shkreli-associated wallet in the top position, with the majority of remaining early wallets in loss as the sniper distributed.

Why it matters
The entry is a clear illustration of announced-launch risk. Once a deployer wallet is known and a launch is signalled in advance, automated snipers can pre-position against that wallet and pay large priority tips to secure the first transaction. Participants buying from a livestream in real time are, in practice, providing exit liquidity to infrastructure that acted before the token was visible to them.
