Overview

fih ($FIH) is a Solana token launched on Pump.fun on 25 August 2026, roughly four hours after Pistacio's run. It was deployed and openly promoted by Marcell (@MarcellxMarcell), a well-known Solana trader with approximately 148,000 followers, and reached an all-time high of about $2.77 million market capitalisation.

Origin

Marcell is an established figure in the pump.fun trading community, associated with the UGCabal and TrenchWarriors circles, and his trades have previously been featured by official Pump.fun accounts. He deployed fih himself and began posting immediately, mirroring the transparency wording Marcello had used for Pistacio hours earlier — acknowledging that a meme had been made from a drawing, that fees had been directed to him, and that he would keep drawing if the coin held up.

The pitch

His promotion was deliberately unserious and made no claims to utility:

  • He stated he would not sell his supply outright, but that he was "just messing around."
  • He described it as the most absurd meme ever launched, which in pump.fun culture functions as the pitch rather than a disclaimer.
  • He instructed the community to change profile pictures, raid posts, and do promotional work.
  • He said he would perform buybacks and support the token if the community put in effort, and referenced exchange contacts.
  • Later posts cited approximately $20,000 in buybacks and the use of held tokens for community airdrops rather than locking them.

Market activity

The token reached number one trending on both Pump.fun and Fomo shortly after launch. Thousands of accounts changed profile pictures to the character, holders passed 5,000 within hours, and volume reached several million dollars. It ran from a low market capitalisation to an all-time high of roughly $2.77 million before cooling, with later snapshots placing it in the $890,000 to $1 million range and trading around $791,000.

Early holder snapshots showed Marcell holding a sizeable position with large paper profits from a relatively small entry. Community commentary was openly sceptical, with several participants stating they did not usually trust him but were participating anyway.

Why it matters

fih is the textbook version of the KOL-deployed launch and a useful contrast to Pistacio: same week, same aesthetic, same transparency language, but the deployer and the promoter are the same person and hold a large early position. The identifying features are consistent — a known name deploying and posting live, an immediate coordinated profile-picture raid, an explicit "do the work and I'll support the chart" bargain, and high early volume drawn from an existing follower base rather than from the meme itself.
