Justice for HeeHaw is a Solana token launched on Pump.fun on 30 August 2026 in response to the killing of a bottle-raised miniature donkey by police officers in Polk County, Georgia. The underlying incident
At approximately 00:45 on Sunday 30 August 2026, officers from Cedartown Police Department and Polk County Police Department entered a private pasture at Elsberry Riding and Farm in Polk County, Georgia, while searching for a missing person. The owner states that the officers entered without permission or prior warning.
HeeHaw, a bottle-raised miniature donkey who lived on the farm and appeared at petting zoos, approached the officers braying, which is normal alerting behaviour for the animal. According to the farm's account and local reporting, the officers attempted to deploy a taser and subsequently shot and killed the animal, stating that they believed themselves to be in danger.
The owner described HeeHaw as family, writing that he was raised in the house, never knew a stranger, and was killed in his own pasture for doing what donkeys do. Legal action was announced and a GoFundMe was opened to fund legal fees.
A Cedartown officer was placed on administrative leave and an investigation was opened. The account circulated rapidly through the farm's Facebook post, local outlets including FOX 5 Atlanta, and subsequently X and TikTok.
